Resident visitor tickets

Resident visitor parking tickets are issued to residents that allow a visitor(s) to park in a specific resident's parking zone. They are valid in resident's parking bays only. The permits are issued in packs of 30 tickets, a maximum of three packs per property per year can be issued from January to December. Multiple occupancy buildings are counted as one residence and are only eligible for three packs per year.

How do I apply?

Tickets are not issued at the point of application but sent out in the post. Please allow a minimum of 10 working days between submitting your application and receiving your tickets.

By email

Email a completed application form and the required documents to permitenquiries@plymouth.gov.uk. The subject of the email should be applicant surname/address (Smith/101 North Close). If your application has been approved you will be contacted by telephone or email to make the required payment.

By post

Send a completed application form and the required documents to Parking Services, Plymouth City Council, Ground Floor, Civic Centre, Plymouth PL1 2AA. Payment must be made by cheque and made payable to Plymouth City Council. Please do not enclose cash.

In person

Bring a completed application form, the required documents and payment to the Civic Centre reception, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm. You may experience delays in busy periods. Please note we are not able to issue tickets over the counter.
