Saltram Countryside Park Masterplan - Delivering the Park
The Saltram Countryside Park Masterplan brings together the projects that have been identified over the development period into a cohesive vision and plan for the area. It is anticipated that the projects will be achieved over a range of timescales starting in 2011, with funding from several different sources.
The Masterplan focuses on projects that have a spatial dimension and gives details on proposed new access routes, enhancements to historic and natural features and demonstrates how different areas of the Park will work together to provide an exciting and diverse resource for local people. Activities that will have an impact across the whole Park (such as involving volunteers in the management of the area) will be referenced in the accompanying Delivery Plan.
The Delivery Plan provides more detail on how the Park will be taken forward including governance options, costs and funding options. The Masterplan and Delivery Plan together provide the vision for the Park and identifies practical mechanisms to deliver the enhancements on the ground.
A series of topic papers were produced alongside the Masterplan and Delivery Plan to document the evidence and rational that underpins the projects and provides more detail on the key themes that have been investigated and integrated into the final documents. These topic papers can be found below.
