Coastal management is complex because there are many organisations with responsibilities and lots of different interests. For the management of the Tamar Estuaries these organisations are working together through the Tamar Estuaries Consultative Forum. The Tamar Estuaries Consultative Forum is supported by the Port of Plymouth Marine Liaison Committee which represents the broad spectrum of estuary users and interests, social, economic and environmental.
