School travel plan template

Using the School Travel Plan template will help to ensure that your School Travel Plan meets the minimum DfT criteria.

Just download the template below as a guide or, if you would like a version in MS Word, contact the Sustainable Transport Team and we will send one out to you.

Filling out the template should be done while referring to the DfT Quality Assurance to ensure that all criteria are met.

It is important that your school takes ownership of the plan, so don’t just fill out the template, add pictures and your own design work to the plan to make it unique to your school. Also think about changing the font size, colour and style and rewording some of the plan to suit your school.
