The Tompot Blenny (Parablennius gattorugine) is a small fish (measuring 20cm) that lives in rocky areas in shallow water. It has a continuous dorsal fin and distinctive pair of tentacles between the eyes. The picture above was taken off Bovisand at the eastern entrance to Plymouth Sound.
