Health and wellbeing

The Council's adult social care service encourages and supports people to live independently in their own home, amongst family and friends, as long as it is appropriate to do so.

At times people may require help from additional services to maintain their health and wellbeing.

There are a wide range of preventive services that can be provided before considering the option of a nursing home or care home and support is also available for carers.
