Bowling
Eight bowling greens are open from May to the end of September. Though club members use the greens for pleasure and competitions regularly, there are rinks available for non-members to use. Please contact us for details.
- Central Park, Outland Road, Milehouse - 2
- Dean Cross, Dean Cross Road, Plymstock - 1
- Devonport Park, Paradise Road, Devonport - 1
- Harewood House, Ridgeway, Plympton - 1
- The Hoe, Hoe Road, The Hoe - 1
- Tothill Park, Lanhydrock Road, St Judes - 1
- Victoria Park, Millbridge Road, Millbridge - 1
It should be noted that:
- the bowling greens are self stewarded by club members and therefore are only open to the public when a member is present
- tickets to bowl can be purchased at each bowling green from the club steward
- smooth delivery of the wood on to the surface of the green is required, as bouncing woods can cause considerable damage to the playing surface
The steward holds the right to stop any person bowling who they think are damaging a green.
