East End Transport Community Liaison Group
Minutes
Below are the minutes from the East End Transport Community Liaison Group. The first meeting was held in July 2006. These meetings are held regularly with representatives of the East End including residents, ward members and local businesses.
The purpose of the group is to work with Plymouth City Council in the development of transport proposals; to increase knowledge and to inform the process of improving the transport network and infrastructure of the East End in ways that address as far as possible the social, economic, health and environmental interests of the area.
Plymouth City Council benefits from the two-way exchange of information by capturing local issues and concerns that need to be considered and addressed as far as possible in the development of the scheme proposals.
It is important to note that the information contained within these minutes was correct at the time of writing. As the scheme has developed there have been changes to the overall project plan and thus the timeframes for specific pieces of work discussed within these minutes have also changed.
