Book of Remembrance Room

The Book of Remembrance Room is within the chapel complex and is next to the waiting room. The following memorials are available:

Book of Remembrance

The book is in four, three monthly volumes with a page allocated to each day of the year. Every morning the page is turned so that entries may be seen on each anniversary. Personal copies of the entry are available.

Wall plaque

The wall plaques are available on a five year renewable lease. No flowers, vases or other items are permitted beneath this plaque.


Garden of Remembrance

Cremated remains may be strewn in the garden on the grass areas once permission and an appointment has been obtained from the office.

The following memorials are available in the Garden of Remembrance:

Granite tablet

The granite tablets are situated on the perimeter walls of the garden and are available on a 25 year renewable lease. The price does not include the granite tablet with an inscription - this must be purchased from a recommended Monumental Mason.

Roses

The standard and bush roses are already planted within the garden and are available on a five year renewable lease. A plaque bearing a short inscription is placed with each rose. No flowers or other items are permitted in the rose beds.

Wall plaque

The wall plaques are on a wall in the Garden of Remembrance and are available on a five year renewable lease. No flowers, vases or other items are permitted beneath this plaque.


Cemetery grounds

The following memorials are available:

Burial plot

The burial plots are for two interments of cremated remains. The cremated remains must be in a wooden casket (purchased separately from a Funeral Director). The plots are allocated in rotation and are intended only for the placing of fresh or silk flowers. They are available on a 25 or 50 year renewable lease. The price does not include the fee for the interment of the ashes casket or the tablet with an inscription - this must be purchased from a recommended Monumental Mason.

Granite planter

The granite planter is situated at the end of the sanctum path behind the Garden of Remembrance. A plaque is available on a five or 10 year renewable lease for either a three or six line inscription with an optional design.

Roses

The standard and bush roses are already planted and are available on a five year renewable lease. A plaque bearing a short inscription is placed with each rose. No flowers or other items are permitted in the rose beds.

Sanctum vault

The sanctum vaults are within an area behind the Garden of Remembrance and are for two interments of cremated remains. The cremated remains must be in a casket (purchased separately from a Funeral Director) or the original urn received from this cemetery (please check with the cemetery office). The vaults are allocated in rotation and are intended only for placing of fresh or silk flowers. They are available on a 25 or 50 year renewable lease. The price includes the tablet with an inscription and the first interment fee.

Seat

The seats are already situated throughout the cemetery and are available on a five year renewable lease. A plaque bearing a short inscription is attached to each seat. No flowers or other items are permitted on or around the seat.

Trees

The trees are already planted throughout the cemetery and are available on a 10 year renewable lease. A plaque bearing a short inscription is placed with each tree. No flowers or other items are permitted on or around the tree.
