Election pack
The school election pack has been designed to help make young people more aware of the democratic process.
The pack is primarily aimed at young people aged 16 to 18 for general studies or citizenship courses, but can also be used in primary schools and other young age groups to make school elections more fun. The information and materials are designed to act as a guide, to allow pupils and students to discuss and understand democratic principles and participate in school elections.
We hope this pack provides some useful guidance materials.
A number of the documents have been set as Word documents to allow teachers to download and adapt them for their own specific use.
