Plymouth City Council can provide financial assistance towards improving the energy efficiency of your home. The following is a list of current offers:

Cavity wall and loft insulation

This is the easiest and most effective way of insulating your property. Our insulating scheme, CosyDevon can provide free or heavily discounted loft and cavity wall insulation to home owners and private tenants in Plymouth.

Healthy homes

Grants are available to assist residents who have medical conditions which are exacerbated by living in cold and damp conditions. The grants can be used for insulation, ventilation, and heating improvements.

Warmer walls

The 'warmer walls' scheme provides grants to help insulate solid wall properties. We can offer householders 50 per cent off the cost of a thermal wall covering called ‘Sempatap Thermal’. This product is applied to the interior of external walls, much like wall paper, and will reduce heat loss through solid walls. Radiator panels

Plymouth residents can claim a 10 per cent discount on radiator panels when ordered from Joulesave. Visit the Joulesave website or call 01572 768362 for more details. The promotional code ‘PL 10' will get you a 10 per cent discount.
