Local Housing Allowance room calculator
Local Housing Allowance (LHA) is based on how many bedrooms you and your household need. Please fill in this form to work out your room entitlement.
When you click on 'submit', your room entitlement will be displayed at the top of the form. To view the current LHA rate for that number of rooms please visit our current rates page.
Please note that from April 2009 for all new claims where families have an entitlement of more than 5 bedrooms the LHA rate will be capped at a maximum of the 5 bedroom rate.
