Licensing

We have a number of licensing regulatory and registration powers and duties. The licensing section deals with the licensing and registrations of a wide range of people and premises.

From the 24 November 2005 the licensing act will be revised. Licences previously required for karaoke, cinema, theatre, public entertainment, occasional entertainment, certificate of suitability, late night refreshments, sports entertainment will be replaced by one licence, a 'premises licence'. Applications for this licence can be obtained from the Department for Culture, Media and Sports website. Once the form has been completed please send it to us.
