Countdown to Plymouth’s first Christmas carnival

Thousands of people are expected to Frankfort Gate and the City Market on Thursday 4 December November to join in the fun. The procession starts at 4pm in the Independent Quarter with a procession which includes Elfie-Okee, a Lantern Parade, Winter Samba Band, Christmas Fayre, bands and choirs and Santa and his reindeer.

Special guests 'Signature' as seen on Britain's Got Talent will be headlining an evening full of fun.

Pre booking now opens for Santa's Ice Castle

Visit Santa in the Ice Castle which this year will be located at Place de Brest. The family friendly grotto will be open daily from 13 November right up until Christmas day. This year people can either pre-book a slot at no extra charge, or simply turn up on the day. New shoppers car park opens in Plymouth's West End

Plymouth is to get a new short stay shoppers car park from Monday 24 November at the rear of Plymouth City Market as part of a package of improvements making it easier for people to visit the Plymouth Market and West End.
