Renting a stall

You can obtain an application to trade form from the market office.

We advise that anyone wishing to trade in the city market starts by trading on a daily bench. To do so the trader will need to visit the market office, located upstairs in the north east corner of the building (from Cornwall Street entrance turn left and walk straight ahead), to collect an application form and to seek further advice.

Any person wishing to trade in the market will need public liability insurance of up to £5m but we advise that no person pays for this until their application has been accepted by the market manager.
