Our interpreting service

An interpreter is someone who provides an oral translation between speakers of different languages.

We provide interpreters for face to face appointments such as meetings for food standards. As our interpreters are freelance (self employed) their availability varies so we ask for 48 working hours notice for bookings. If you need to get an interpreter in an emergency there is a telephone interpreting service but this is currently only available to Plymouth City Council departments.
