Help using the Plymouth City Council website

The Plymouth City Council website has been designed with certain functions and features that are present on every page.

At the top of every page is a search box. Type in the phrase or word you are looking for and click on search.

In the top section of the page (below the search) is the navigation that is present on all pages and consists of the following links:

• Home - this will return you to the site's homepage
• Contact Us - this will give information about, and contact details for, the City Council
• A-Z - this will list all services in alphabetical order
• Sitemap - this will list an overview of all pages in the site structure
• Help - this will give you information on what you can find and how to navigate it
• Text only - this will convert the web page you are on to a text version
• Print Version - this will change the page layout so that it is ready to print
• FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions, this link will take you to the FAQ page
• Advanced Search - provides a more detailed search of the site

The Back to the previous page link will appear on all pages under the homepage. This link will take you back to the previous page you where on.

Under Online services there is a growing list of features that can be carried out on the website.

Have your say allows you to be able to make comments, complaints or suggestions about anything we do in the Council. You can also report any racist or homophobic incident.

The features that are present on every page are Contact details and What do you think of this page? All contact details will contain a postal address, telephone number and an email address; some may contain a fax number.

The What do you think of this page? link will direct you to an online form where you will be able to comment on the content of the page your were on.
