Shadow Board
Housing Associations are not for profit organisations that are governed by boards.
Before the offer document goes out to tenants next year, a Shadow Board has to be in place, so that people can see who would be governing the new landlord if there is a yes vote.
The Shadow Board will have 12 members.
- four tenants (including one leaseholder)
- four people nominated by the Council
- four independent members
Tenants and leaseholders worked with the independent tenants' adviser DWA to help the Council recruit board members.
The tenant board members have been chosen and they are:
- Peter Ebsworth
- Elaine Pellow
- Nigel Warn
- Christine Watts MBE (leaseholder)
The Council has nominated:
Three independent board members have been recruited and they are:
- Louise Barnden
- Zilpah Leahy
- Linda Macbeth
- William Lean
Shadow Board meetings
The Shadow Board meets regularly and the minutes will be available from the document list.
