Local and naval resources
The Local and Naval Studies Library has important collections of materials and resources in a variety of formats.
A majority of the collection covers Plymouth, however many items relate to Devon and Cornwall and other areas in the south west.
The very extensive naval studies collection reflects Plymouth's maritime history and its role both as a starting point for exploration and discovery and as a major Royal Naval base.
