Park and ride

Park and ride services for the Christmas period

We will be running the popular late evening journeys on the Park and Ride for Christmas shoppers again this year.

Starting on Thursday 13 November and every Thursday until 18 December, service PR1 from The George and Milehouse will run every 15 minutes with the last journey from the George at 8.20pm and the last bus from Royal Parade at 9.35pm.

Service PR2 from Coypool will run every 20 minutes with the last journey from Coypool at 9pm and the last bus from Royal Parade at 9.20pm.

Great value fares

An off-peak family ticket costs only £3.20 and gives up to two adults and three children return travel into the city from any site.

Parking is free at all three sites, so leave your vehicle at the Park and Ride and enjoy a stress free journey to the city centre and back again.

Park and ride services

First Devon and Cornwall operate all three park and ride sites in Plymouth; Milehouse, Coypool and the George Junction. Please note that the Milehouse site is currently undergoing site improvements and an infrastructure upgrade.

  • Services Monday to Saturday (excluding bank holidays)
  • Every 10 to 12 minutes, this can be up to 15 minutes at certain times, for example first thing in the morning and after 5.45pm in the evening at Coypool
  • Fares from £1.20 return

There are two services which operate from outside of the city centre:

Milehouse park and ride

The Milehouse park and ride service is combined with the George Junction service and passengers should catch the bus from the shelters on the Milehouse site.

The service starts from Milehouse at 6.45am, Monday to Saturday (on Argyle home game Saturdays the park and ride from Milehouse does not operate).

The last bus from Royal Parade back to Milehouse is 7pm (Monday to Saturday). The Milehouse site does not get locked and people can access their cars at any time.
