Strategic Environmental Assessment of Local Transport Plan 2011 to 2026
A Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report was produced to help inform the development of the Local Transport Plan (LTP). The Environmental Report identifies any significant environmental effects that are likely to result from the implementation of the LTP 2011 to 2026.
The SEA Environmental Report, alongside the draft LTP was consulted on with the public between late 2010 to early 2011. As part of the SEA requirements it was also necessary to consult with the statutory environmental bodies, English Heritage, Natural England and the Environment Agency. The comments received on both the SEA Environmental Report and the draft LTP were then used to inform the development of the final LTP and this revised SEA Environmental Report.
Once the LTP was adopted a SEA Statement was then produced that details how the SEA process contributed to the final LTP.
