The Air Quality Action Plan

This document considers the local air quality problems that have been reported through the Local Air Quality Management processes, and which have resulted in the declaration of three specific Air Quality Management Areas (AQMAs) in Plymouth. Two are related to transport and will be examined in detail here.

The Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) was originally developed alongside the second Local Transport Plan that covered the period from 2006 to 2011. Progress on the air quality issue is reported through the Local Air Quality Managment (LAQM) process.

A new AQAP will be produced in response to the changing air quality issues that the city is now experiencing and will be made available here to view and download.
