Route and service details
The Milehouse park and ride service is combined with the George park and ride service. Passengers should catch the bus from the shelter on Outland Road.
The service operates from Milehouse to the city centre via Saltash Road (Railway Station/North Cross), Mayflower Street, Western Approach, Union Street and Royal Parade (stop A12). The return route from Royal Parade (stop A12) is via The Viaduct (stop B1), Charles Street (Drake Circus), Coburg Street, Saltash Road (Railway Station) and Milehouse park and ride. The service then continues to the George, stopping on Tavistock Road (B&Q).
The service starts from Milehouse at 6.45am, Monday to Friday, and at 6.58am on Saturdays.
The last bus from Milehouse to Royal Parade is 6.15pm and then from Royal Parade back to Milehouse is 6.30pm (Monday to Saturday). The Milehouse site does not get locked and people can access their cars at any time.
There are no park and ride services on Sundays and bank holidays.
Don't worry if you miss the last park and ride bus - just catch First bus service 1, 1A, 4, 81 or 81C to Alma Road, Milehouse. Your park and ride ticket will be valid on these buses.

From the A38 - westbound:
- Take the A386 exit toward Tavistock/Torpoint/A374
- At Manadon Junction Roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the Outland Rd/A386 ramp to Plymouth
- Continue straight on to Outland Rd/A386 for about a mile
- Turn left into the Milehouse park and ride site (adjacent to Plymouth Argyle football ground)
From the A38 - eastbound:
- Take the A386 exit toward Tavistock
- At Manadon Junction Roundabout, take the 5th exit onto the Outland Rd/A386 ramp
- Continue as above
From the A3064:
- Head southeast on Wolseley Road/A3064 toward the city centre/A3064
- Go through one roundabout
- Turn left at Outland Rd/A3064 (by the Britannia Inn)
- Turn right into the Milehouse park and ride site
Fares
- Adult single to city centre - £1.40
- Adult return to city centre - £1.90
- Adult 10 return journey ticket - £16
- Family return (maximum of five people, no more than two adults) - £4.10
Fares apply all day. There are no peak and off peak fares.
