PCAD Fashion Winner 2007

To tie in with the 'Indigo: A Blue To Dye For' exhibition, we agreed to present a prize for the 'Best Use of Denim' to a student at Plymouth College of Art and Design's end of year Fashion Shows.

The winning student was Kelly Houghton, whose street-influenced collection of six different outfits featured denim and jersey fabrics all finished off with funky buckles and belts.

The standard of work at the shows was extremely high but Kelly's collection, with its asymmetric cutting and contrasting colours, really stood out for us.

Kelly's final collection can be seen in the photos above. We wish her the very best of luck with her future career in fashion.
