Parking bay hire (including placement of skips)

Hire of on street pay and display bays and car park bays in exceptional circumstances

If you need the use of a specific pay and display bay for the purpose of works you have the option of hiring a bay. Hired bays cannot be used for daily parking or commuter parking - you would need to pay and display in the usual way.

If you need to place a skip in a pay and display bay or need to park in a pay and display bay to be close to a specific property, the option to hire may be best for you.

Pay and display bays are charged for a full days use. If you want to ask us about hiring a bay please email permitenquiries@plymouth.gov.uk or contact the Parking Unit with details of the dates and area you need to park.

Placement of skips in a resident's parking area

Requests for skips to be placed in residential parking areas are dealt with by the Highways department. For further information please visit the highways permits page.
