Plymouth award for sustainable school travel (PASST)
PASST is the framework for enabling schools to monitor and review their travel plans in successive years from submission. It rewards schools for their continued efforts on implementing their travel plan.
With the PASST scheme, schools are encouraged to monitor the success of the plan and feed this information back to the Sustainable Transport Team.
What is the PASST scheme?
- It is a three level award scheme.
- It recognises high quality school travel plans.
- It is awarded to schools showing a strong commitment to safe, sustainable school travel.
- It places emphasis on monitoring and evaluation of plans.
How does the PASST scheme work?
- PASST scheme is a three level award scheme.
- Each level is rewarded with a certificate.
- Level 1 meets the criteria for DCSF/DfT capital funding.
- Levels 2 and 3 build on the essential criteria for DfES/DfT capital funding.
