User engagement and participation

The User Participation Group, involving partner agencies from across the city, have developed a User Participation Strategy based on the work undertaken through a range of participation support services including the Plymouth Children’s Fund Participation Team, NCH Care Leavers Service, Plymouth Youth Service, Devon and Cornwall Connexions Services, Devon Action for Youth and The Zone.

Plymouth Children and Young People's Trust adopted the strategy in May 2006. All services will be expected to reflect the principles in this document. To see the User Participation Strategy click on the link below.

Plymouth Children and Young People's Trust have undertaken a range of events, where we have consulted with children and young people, families and carers based on the principles in the User Participation Strategy. The events have included:
