Planning Portal
The Planning Portal is available to you in association with the Council's planning services. The Planning Portal is the one-stop-shop for planning information and services online, set up to help anyone who wants to know more about the planning process in England and Wales.
The Planning Portal offers the latest National Planning News, access to regulations and guidance notes for applications and appeals procedure.
Online planning applications
Online planning applications are simple and easy to create using the Planning Portal. Use the forms and tools to create your proposal, calculate your fee and add any attachments. You can also pay the fee before you submit your proposal direct to us. If you'd rather send your application by post, you can create it online, then print it out and then return it to us.
Advice and guidance
The Planning Portal offers a comprehensive, user friendly guide to the planning system and answers many questions you might have. It covers many common areas of interest such as why planning controls are needed, how planning decisions are made and how to make an appeal.
