Plymbridge Lane and Estover Road Site of Special Scientific Interest

Plymbridge Lane and Estover Road SSSI is made up of two parcels located in the north of Plymouth in the areas of Derriford and Estover in the vicinity of Plymouth City Airport. Together the two parcels cover an area of 0.79ha.
The site was designated as a SSSI in 1991 following the discovery of the only known wild population of Plymouth Pear, which are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1991.
There are regular bus services along Plymbridge Lane from where the site can be accessed. If you have visited the site please send in your photographs and we will put the best on this site.
