Wildlife species
The Devon Biodiversity Records Centre (DBRC) holds information relating to the location and identification of the flora and fauna in the local area. They are responsible for the collection of data and conducting surveys to assess and monitor Devon's biodiversity.
Information on some of the species which can be found in and around Plymouth can be accessed by using the links in the left hand menu.
A number of organisations have websites that are worth consulting if you are interested in finding out more about a particular type of wildlife. The following websites are a good starting point:
