Woodland Wood Local Nature Reserve
Woodland Wood is located in the north of Plymouth immediately south of the residential area of Whitleigh and east of Budshead Wood Local Nature Reserve. The site covers 29ha and is owned by Plymouth City Council and managed by Parks Services. The site contains a mosaic of mature deciduous woodland, grassland and a stream which support a variety of flora and fauna.
There is a network of footpaths and rides across the site. The reserve is easily accessible using public transport with bus stops along Crownhill Road to the south of the reserve, Budshead Road to the west of the reserve and Bodmin Road to the north of the reserve.

Current projects
Stepping Stones to Nature, a four year project to get more Plymouth residents enjoying our parks and natural spaces in and around the city is working on Woodland Wood doing site improvements, community events and conservation volunteering.
