City Council has new Labour administration following election

Plymouth City Council has a new Labour administration following the local elections on Thursday 4 May.

Following the count at the Plymouth Life Centre, seats on the Council now stand at:

  • Labour - 31
  • Conservative - 18
  • Independent - 5
  • Green - 2

There is also one vacancy.

The turnout was 32.1 per cent.

The new administration will be confirmed at the Council's annual meeting on 19 May.
