You can arrange a commitment ceremony if you want to formally celebrate your relationship and commitment to each other but don't want to enter into a marriage contract.
Ceremonies can be held at the The Council House or an approved venue and can be formal or informal and include readings, poetry, music and people that are special to you.
Typical order of service:
- Introduction and welcome
- Readings or a speech by a special guest
- Vows or promises
- Exchange of rings
- Signing of the certificate
- Closing words

To book a commitment ceremony, that can be booked up to two years in advance, email [email protected].
Plymouth Registration Service can only take payments by card.
