To brief Councillors on their responsibilities relating to Adult Safeguarding and what to do if Councillors think an adult may be at risk of harm or neglect; useful resources are provided below:

Other information

Plymouth Safeguarding Adults Partnership run a multi-agency course for anyone who comes into content with adults who may be at risk. The course is free to attend and covers the following issues:

  • What is abuse?
  • Who is an adult at risk?
  • How to recognise signs and circumstances of abuse and/or neglect
  • How to report concerns
