By-elections will be held in the Moor View and Plympton Chaddlewood wards on Thursday 12 January, following the resignations of Shannon Burden and Dan Collins last week.
A Notice of Election has now been published on our Elections 2023 page.
The deadline for registering to vote in these by-elections is midnight on Thursday 22 December. If you are not yet registered, the easiest way to do this is online.
You can also use this page to update your name, address or other details or change your voting preferences (for example to vote by post).
If you are already registered and would like to vote by post you can download a form here. Postal vote applications must be received by 5pm on Friday 23 December.

Anyone wishing to stand as a candidate in either by-election will need to complete a set of nomination papers, available online and from our electoral services team. Completed papers must be received by 4pm on 13 December.
