We work with neighbouring local authorities and partner agencies to develop, test and review emergency plans. We maintain several plans based on the level of risk associated with certain emergencies. These risks are detailed in national and community risk registers.
Risk registers
At the national level the Government prepares a National Risk Register. This is broken down into further local areas by the Community Risk Registers (CRR). The Devon, Cornwall and Isles of Scilly CRR details assessed risks within the area. This allows us and our partners to develop plans and deliver training and exercises. Further information can be found on the Local Resilience Forum.
Site specific plans
Certain regulations place a duty on local authorities to prepare site-specific plans. In our case, there are three sites that we have a legal responsibility to produce plans for. For more information on each site use the following links.
