In January 2022 the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) started a Heat Network Zoning (HNZ) Pilot programme.
As one of the cities taking part in the programme we are working with relevant stakeholders and technical consultant Buro Happold to collect information that will help to develop any future schemes.
We are currently in the data and evidence gathering stage of the pilot, engaging with local businesses and organisations in the city.
