Join the Red Cross Bookshop team for an exciting workshop of writing and creativity!

Open to children and young people aged 5 - 18yrs, the competition is free to enter and volunteers will be on hand for help and advice.

#GirlCode: Plymstock Library

#GIRLCODE is a free coding class for girls aged 8-14 who want to learn to code in a fun and friendly environment.

Run by tech industry professionals, the easy and interactive session will provide hands-on experience of programming using the BBC micro:bit.

All equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.

#GIRLCODE aims to encourage girls in the Plymouth area to consider careers in technology and software development.

Lunch at the Library: Four Greens, Whitleigh

Join in with family friendly activities and pick up a free Lunch at the Library every Wednesday in August.

Free activities from 10.30am to 1.30pm including the Summer Reading Challenge, crafts, Lego, stories and more. Rhymetime at 11am 

Lunches are for children only and given out on a first come, first served basis. Ask library staff for a ticket when you arrive.

Some activities may need booking on the day, check with library staff.
