Children's Creative Writing Competition Workshop: Central Library

Do you enjoy reading and writing? Are you a creative thinker?

Do you want the chance to see your work published?

Join the Red Cross Bookshop team for an exciting workshop of writing and creativity!

Open to children and young people aged 5 - 18yrs, the competition is free to enter and volunteers will be on hand for help and advice.

No booking required.

#GirlCode: Plymstock Library

#GIRLCODE is a free coding class for girls aged 8-14 who want to learn to code in a fun and friendly environment.

Run by tech industry professionals, the easy and interactive session will provide hands-on experience of programming using the BBC micro:bit.

All equipment will be provided, and no prior experience is needed.

#GIRLCODE aims to encourage girls in the Plymouth area to consider careers in technology and software development.
