Pick up lateral flow tests from your local library

All of Plymouth’s libraries are stocked up with lateral flow tests, pick yours at:

  • Central Library
  • Crownhill Library
  • Devonport Library
  • Efford Library
  • Estover Library
  • North Prospect Library
  • Peverell Library
  • Plympton Library
  • Plymstock Library
  • St Budeaux Library
  • Southway Library

Lateral flow tests should be taken twice a week, particularly before and after meeting people.

Anyone aged five years and over and that has been identified as a contact of someone with COVID-19, who is not legally required to self-isolate, is strongly advised to:

  • take an LFD test every day for 7 days
  • or until 10 days since last contact with the person who tested positive for COVID-19 if this is earlier
  • or if the contact is a household member, until the household member who has COVID-19 reaches the end of their self-isolation period if this is earlier

Make sure to take this daily test before you leave the household for the first time that day.

For full opening times please see the libraries webpages, and double check on Plymouth libraries Facebook of Twitter pages for the most up to date opening information

You can also pick up lateral flow tests from Place de Brest in the city centre every day apart from Wednesdays and Sundays. Only one box of tests will be given out per person.

When picking up tests, please ensure you are wearing a face covering unless you are medically exempt.
