All Council-owned play parks will be opening again from tomorrow, Saturday 4 July. Ball courts and outdoor gyms will also be back in use.
We can't wait to see kids using the park again and we're sure that they'll be champing at the bit to get back on the slides and swings as well.
As everyone knows, coronavirus hasn’t completely gone away so please, while you're with your kids in the parks, be aware of the following things:
- Please follow social distancing guidance
- We expect play areas to be in high demand so please think about how you long you stay to give everyone a chance to use them safely
- Please use hand sanitiser before and after visiting the park
- Use the litter bins or take rubbish home.
- If you or your child isn’t feeling very well, please don't use the park.
- We know it's tempting, but please wait until the parks officially open on Saturday.
