A dumped mattress cost a Devonport woman more than £800 after she appeared before Plymouth Magistrates Court accused of fly-tipping.

The court heard how in May 2021 the Council was contacted by Plymouth Community Homes (PCH) about an abandoned mattress left near a bin store in Granby Street.

Having your dog off the lead in a dogs on lead zone can cost you a lot of money, as one Plymouth woman found out at Plymouth Magistrates Court on Thursday 9 September.

A couple who fly-tipped a sofa have ended up with big bills and criminal records following a hearing at Plymouth Magistrates Court earlier this week.
