fly-tipping

A man who left bags of rubble in a service lane on three occasions for over two months has been made to pay more than £800 by Plymouth Magistrates Court.

A couple who fly-tipped a sofa have ended up with big bills and criminal records following a hearing at Plymouth Magistrates Court earlier this week.

A man who dumped a pile of rubbish in a St Budeaux back lane has been ordered to pay over £1,000.

Tristan Harper, 53, of Higher Efford Road, appeared before Plymouth Magistrates Court on Monday to answer for his crimes.

The court heard how in November 2019 Harper had been borrowing a garage from a friend in Evelyn Street.

"Your waste is your responsibility."

That is the message after a Plymouth woman was forced to cough up £728 for paying a neighbour to dispose of household waste that ended up dumped over her own back fence.
