Plymbridge Lane and Estover Road (Ecological SSSI)

Plymbridge Lane and Estover Road Site of Special Scientific InterestPlymbridge Lane and Estover Road Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) is made up of two parcels located in the north of Plymouth in the areas of Derriford and Estover in the vicinity of Plymouth City Airport. Together the two parcels cover an area of 0.79 hectares.

The site was designated as a SSSI in 1991 following the discovery of the only known wild population of Plymouth Pear, which are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1991.

The site can be accessed by public transport with regular bus services along Plymbridge Lane.
