The Derriford area of Plymouth is set to be developed over the next decade to encompass an additional 4,000 homes, and 212,000sqm of other land-uses, primarily employment. The additional population that this development will cater for is around 24,000. Any development of this size brings about a need and demand to travel, whether it be to (or from) work in the area, or to use the retail and other facilities. This document forms part of the evidence base for the emerging Derriford and Seaton Area Action Plan.
