Overnight diversions from A38 westbound to Leigham and Forder Valley

Overnight diversions will be in place tonight, tomorrow night and on Monday night, while new signage is installed as part of the Forder Valley Interchange improvements.

Forder Valley Road is already closed in both directions from 7pm to 6am but tonight, tomorrow and Monday the exit slip from the westbound side of the A38 towards Leigham Roundabout will also be closed, from 8pm to 6am.

Drivers accessing Delamere Road and Longbridge Road will be diverted via Manadon Roundabout and back along the A38 eastbound, exiting at Leigham Roundabout.

Access to Forder Valley Road and Novorossiysk Road will be via Manadon Roundabout and Tavistock Road. However, essential resurfacing works near Crownhill flyover (which are almost complete) mean this diversion will be longer tonight.

Thursday

Traffic will be diverted via Manadon Roundabout, Tavistock Road, Meavy Way, Crownhill Road, around the St Budeaux Roundabout and back down Crownhill Road to Fort Austin Avenue and Forder Valley Road.

Friday and Monday

Traffic will be diverted via Manadon Roundabout, Tavistock Road, Crownhill Road and Fort Austin Avenue to Forder Valley Road.

Drivers are advised to allow to extra time for their journeys.

Thanks again for bearing with us while these final phases of work are carried out.
