The wildflower meadow at Truro Drive Open Space can be seen either side of the path running through the site.
Species include:
- Knapweed
- Ragwort
- Red bartsia
- Eyebright
- Yellow rattle
Red bartsia, eyebright and yellow rattle are parasitic on grass so they help our wildflowers to thrive!
Butterfly species spotted include:
- Gatekeeper
- Speckled wood
- Small copper
- Common blue
We've also spotted bees and grasshoppers.
