Abercrombie Awards 2017 winners

It was a celebration of our city on Friday night at the Abercrombie Awards 2017, where the people behind some of Plymouth's best loved development were up for 11 categories!

The awards are designed to celebrate the new buildings and spaces that have helped make Plymouth the city it is today.

Stiltskin's Soapbox Children's theatre was chosen by the public to win the People of Plymouth Award with over 1000 votes cast, they also received a highly commended from the judges in the Best Community Project category.

The regeneration of North Prospect was given the Judges Special Award for its role in transforming the city.

The Nelson Project, a development born from a vision to deliver a flagship housing scheme, was made overall winner of the Abercrombie Award for demonstrating design excellence and innovation.

There were over 60 entries over the eight main categories, with the three special awards above given on the night.
