Planning data protection

The GDPR has changed. We have to be clear about the data we collect and how we process it and protect your personal information.  It also covers your rights as an individual and how the law protects you. You can read our Privacy Notices with regards to Planning below.

Strategic Planning & Infrastructure

On 25 May 2018 the Data Protection Law changed. Being transparent and providing accessible information to individuals about how we use personal information is a key element of the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

To ensure that the council provides you with an efficient and effective service we will sometimes need to share your information between teams within the council as well as with our partner organisations that support the delivery of the service you may receive.

Below are the Privacy Notices relating to the Planning area of the Strategic Planning and Infrastructure department.

Please read carefully the Privacy Notice that relates to your area of interest. The Privacy Notice explains how we store your information and why. It also gives you details of our retention policy and your rights under the said act.

If you need any further information or would like to talk to us with regards to the above, please do not hesitate to contact us on Plymouth 01752 304366 or email planningconsents@plymouth.gov.uk
