Learning Resources

Welcome to our Learning Resources Page

Here you’ll find a range of learning resources that we have developed locally within our Safeguarding Children Partnership as well as national materials to support you in your work with children, young people and families. We’ve tried to make sure that the resources provide the opportunity for ‘quick reads’ as well as more in depth materials and ones which you can also pick up and deliver yourselves within your own organisation. If there’s anything you’d like to see on the page please get in touch via pscp@plymouth.gov.uk and we’ll get searching.

Learning on a Page:

These are quick read guides to our Plymouth Safeguarding Children Partnership’s published case reviews and themed topics. Some suggested ways these can be used are:

  • For your own individual reading & learning
  • In supervision as part of a reflective discussion to explore a case or topic
  • In team meetings or group learning

However you decide to use them the important thing is that the learning is making a difference so perhaps think about what you, your team or organisation can do differently. We’ve included some suggestions in all the Learning on a Page documents of how you can put the learning into practice and we’d love to hear from you if you have any examples of how you’ve done this. Please let us know by emailing pscp@plymouth.gov.uk
