Look at the best ways of stopping floodwater entering your property. 

It might be possible to use Property Flood Resilience (PFR) measures to reduce the risk of flooding to your property, enabling you to reduce the damage caused by floods and to speed up recovery and re-occupation. 

PFR is made up of two elements:

  • Resistance – keeping the water out of the building
  • Resilience – internal adaptations, allowing the clean-up and repair process to occur quickly
